Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Srinagar Airport, Same-Day Local Sightseeing, and Hotel Check-In/Check-Out Details

Upon your arrival at Srinagar International Airport, a brief 5-minute drive will take you through the heart of New Srinagar city, where you’ll cross the iconic Abdullah Bridge connecting the banks of the Jhelum River.
You will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Cheshmashahi, the Hazratbal Shrine, and the enchanting Pari Mahal, where you can explore the lush gardens and historical sites.
Following your explorations, you will spend a comfortable overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2 - Srinagar to Sonmarg and Back - A Scenic 2-hour, 10-minute Drive Each Way (Total 80 Km)

Following breakfast, embark on a journey to Sonmarg. As you proceed, you will pass through the towns of Kangan, Mammar, and Gagangir.
Upon reaching Sonmarg, you have the option to take a captivating 3-hour walk or a horseback trip to the mesmerizing Thajiwas Glacier.
After returning, you can explore the quaint market of the small town.
You will return to Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay after a day of exploration.

Day 3 - Srinagar to Gulmarg and Back - A Scenic 2-hour, 25-minute Drive Each Way (Total 51 Km)

After enjoying breakfast, you will set off for the charming destination of Gulmarg.
Enroute, you will pass through the picturesque Tangmarg town, and continue on a scenic 14-kilometer drive that brings you to Gulmarg.
You’ll arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon, where you can embark on a short tour that includes an exhilarating ride on the Gondola cable car system, a remarkable experience lasting about 8 minutes.
After enjoying the panoramic views, you’ll descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and then have the opportunity to partake in some enjoyable horse-riding adventures.
Later in the day, you will return to Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4 - Srinagar to Pahalgam (90 kms - Approximately 2½ hours)

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a drive to Pahalgam, a place often referred to as the “Land of Shepherds.” This picturesque mountain town is nestled along the banks of the Lidder River.
Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some stunning places, including the world-famous saffron growing fields, the Avantipura Ruins, and the Anantnag Sulphur Springs.
In Pahalgam, you can explore even more breathtaking locations, and there are several options to consider, each at your own cost.
You can choose to visit Chandanwari, Betab Valley, and Aru Valley, all of which offer picturesque landscapes and serve as the starting points for treks to Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier, and Tarsar Lake.
Additionally, you can enjoy horse riding up to Baisaran Valley, often referred to as “Mini Switzerland,” at your own cost.
Finally, you’ll conclude your day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 5 - Pahalgam to Srinagar

Following breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Pahalgam and proceed to Srinagar.
Upon your arrival, you will check in at your hotel.
Later, you will have the opportunity to visit the Hazratbal Mosque in the Old City and enjoy some shopping in the local markets.
In the evening, you can indulge in a delightful Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, a tranquil experience that allows you to explore the beauty of the lake and its surroundings.
You will conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in a houseboat on Dal Lake in Srinagar.

Day 6 - Departure from Srinagar

After your breakfast, it will be time to check out from the houseboat. You will then be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch your flight for your onward destination. Safe travels!
